The exhibition runs until Thursday, October 27, 2011 and will be open during the following hours:
-Monday 5:00 am - 8:00pm
-Tuesday - Friday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. - 8:00 pm
-Saturday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
-Thursday morning closed
The title of Nicoletta's new work expresses the ambiguity of the content of this work. Nicoletta visually transfers us in spaces in where she literally lived, but also spiritually, places with which not only she had a strong physical bond but also an emotional and mental connection.
Her relation to the work is biographical. She’s there, present in all scenes and spaces. She says:
“When I definitively moved back to Nicosia, I was painfully longing for the private spaces I left behind in Madrid. Trying to realize that I should search for “magic” in my current spaces and routine, I started to represent those old and new spaces together with the people that are involved in them, mixing them up and combining them in different ways. An effort to figure out how it would be having all I desire gathered at the same place, or imagine how those beloved spaces would be adjusted to my new family situation. Or just a way to find out: what is that is missing?"
