Nicoletta's latest work focuses on remembering memories-places-spaces, getting in the feeling of a dream where the familiar and the strange get mixed up and confused, creating non realistic situations, that could have been real nevertheless.

She also puts herself in imaginary situations that one can’t really say whether they are based on facts or dreams and desires. “I feel that the last four years my life has dramatically changed, and as I have always tried to paint what I was going through, I can’t just disconnect from what I have lived for so many years”. That’s the reason why places get mixed up. The use of tape in her work creates the sensation of the old, tore and messy.
