In 2004 she starts her series of “Nympho”, playing with the literal meaning of the word and the Greek word Nymph that means bride. Obviously affected of social phenomenon and personal experience, she moves between contradiction towards the meaning of the marriage, the ceremonial aspect of it, but mostly the social meaning and the woman’s role in it. Next to the bride’s large images, she opposes small tiny canvases of private images of masturbation, direct or indirect, playing with the role of female satisfaction-the social one and the personal one. She uses herself as an actor, dividing her role into two parts: at the first one she is the bride-model who poses to the photographer. At the second one, she is the photographer and the model at the same time, fact that limits our angle of vision and restricts it to her own.
